Tournament Arrangements
1. FIDE Rated and Chessa Rated tournament.
2. Closing date: 3 February 2016 @ 21h00.

Please use CHESS, players Surname and Section as reference
 To assist us we kindly request that you make separate payments for different players;
 For EFT payments please use the player’s SURNAME and INITIALS as the reference number;
4. Email the completed registration form and proof of payment to Heidi Veldsman [email protected];
5. Proof of payment will ensure your entry. Non-refundable if you withdraw or do not show up.
6. If more than 20 enters in Fide, top 20 will qualify, rest will be moved to section A. Players who are moved, will
be refunded.
7. Complete one registration form per player or the school form if a group of players register;
8. Entries received after closing date and time, will participate from the second round;
9. Late entries will be limited due to limited space available and will only play from round 2:
10. It will be each player’s own responsibility to check the players list on www.sedchess.co.za and on
chess-resuls.com on Thursday and refer all queries to Johan Veldsman 082 851 3988 before Friday evening
20h00.
11. a.Draw for FIDE Prestige section will be published on Thu 4 Feb at 22h00
b.Draw for all other sections will be published on Fri 5 Feb at 22h00
12. Only players whose payment has been confirmed will be published and put into draw for Round 1. No
registration needed.
13. Latest FIDE Chessa and Sedibeng Rules apply;
14. Organisers reserve the right to combine sections.
15. Players not seated within 15 minutes after the start of the round, will forfeit the game.
16. No item may be sold or traded by any person other than those given permission by the tournament organizer
in writing;
17. By your entry into this tournament you hereby agree unconditionally to abide by all the rules and regulations;
18. The organizers of the tournament are not responsible for the safety of players or their property;
19. Players must provide their own chess pieces and clocks. The organisers will provide the chess boards.
Clocks not required for the Beginners Section;
20. Tuck shop available. Chess equipment will be for sale.
