Infringements
o Retake goal kick if ball is not kicked out of
penalty area
o Indirect free kick to the opposing team if
kicker touches ball again before it touches
another player
o Corner kick awarded if ball enters own goal
after leaving penalty area
o Retake goal kick for any other infringement
Review Question
o How should the referee manage time wasting
during a goal kick?
o Give a verbal warning and then issue a yellow
card if the behavior continues
o Show the kicker a straight red card
