R.E People of Prayer We will be: Celebrating the Epiphany and understanding why it is an important time in the church calendar. Learning about the Beatitudes as a form of prayer. Investigating the meaning behind the Lord’s prayer and why it helps us to understand the kind of people God wants us to be. Personal, Social, Citizenship, Health Education: Say no to bullying/ Going for goals. We will be: Looking at bullying and how we can resolve situations that occur. Understanding what it means to be a bully and what we can do if we witness it. Recognising how we learn best and what behaviour helps us. Parents please would you: Talk with your child about anything they are worried about at school. Talk to a member of staff if you have any concerns. Homework: We will be starting a times tables focus so please ensure your child knows their times tables. Children will start to bring different words home with their spelling list which will challenge them independently. Maths challenges will come home fortnightly. The home project for this half term is to research the tower of London prisoners and their crimes.
