This program provides 1
or 2 hours of extra
opportunities to play with
classmates.
Extended Play’s daily
schedule includes
enrichment activities that
are organized in small and
whole groups, such as
cooking, science, art &
drama, opportunities for
free play, stories, and
supervised playground
recreation.
These activities will be
offered to the Tadpole Class
where appropriate.
In addition, a calendar of
‘Holiday Activities’ will also
be available at different
times of the year. (Drop-Ins
for Special Activities are
welcomed, space permitting.)

ADMISSIONS
The Program is open to all
children enrolled at The
Community Preschool of the
Palisades. Children in the
Tadpole & Polliwog classes may
attend all available days of
Extended Play regardless of
the number of days they
attend preschool.
Children should be enrolled
by the semester, and admission
is on a first-come, first-served
basis. Your child should attend
on the same day(s) each week.
Payment is by the semester.
Drop-Ins can pay day of
service or arrange to be billed.
DROP-INS
Special Drop-Ins are available if
space permits and submitting a
Drop-In request form at the
office.
Emergency Drop-Ins are available
if phone contact is made with the
Program Director on the day of
emergency and if space permits.
Occasional Drop-Ins are available
with 24 hrs notice and if space
permits.
The fee for Drop-Ins
is $17 per day.
EXTENDED PLAY
ENROLLMENT
Enrollment is due prior to the start of
the semester. Late enrollments will be
accepted after the semester begins,
space permitting.
There is no provision for a refund if
student is withdrawn. There will be no
make-up days for absences due to
illness, play dates, etc.
All first semester financial
commitments must be met before your
child can be enrolled in any second
semester program. Dates that
Extended Play is not in session refer to
the 2014-2015 School Calendar.
