Delivery
Lifting and transport
The EUB(A,B) unit is delivered as a single unit, i.e.
factory-assembled unit with roof and mounted on a
base frame. The unit can also be delivered as individual blocks with roof and mounted on a base frame for
assembly at the building site.
The EUAZ-02 jointing pieces must be fitted at the
lower edge of the unit as shown in Fig. 2, if the block
has a roof. Use a lifting spreader so that the roof eaves
will not be damaged.
The weight of each multi-function block is specified on
the rating plate. Use EUAZ-06 lifting tubes and
EUAZ-07 lifting spreader set to lift the unit/blocks
onto the previously prepared foundation.
Max. 6000 kg

Mounting on the foundation, Sizes 20–53
Mounting on the foundation, Sizes 60–84
The foundation, on which the unit is placed, must be
level to ensure problem-free operation.
Check the foundation carefully to avoid distortion of
the unit and thus ensure that the doors will open and
close easily.
Secure the air handling unit base frame to the foundation by means of bolts. It is important to make sure
that the unit is level.
For connection of the duct to the underside of the unit,
accessability must be provided from underneath. If the
unit is mounted on plinths, the spacing of the plinths in
the longitudinal direction of the unit must not exceed
1.5 m.

Connection to Regoterm (EURA) and
Jointing frame (EUVH c = 3, 4)
Jointing of blocks, sizes 20–53
Internal bolted joints at the bolt lugs fitted along the
frame are used for jointing the blocks to one another.
Access to the inside of the casing can be gained either
by opening an inspection door or by removing a wall
panel. If nesessary, withdraw any unit sections that
are in the way.
1. Fit the sealing strips supplied to the frame of one of
the blocks.
2. Push the blocks towards one another, making sure
that they are well lined up with one another.
3. Fit the joint bolts into the corner brackets on the
inside of the frame and make sure that they are
firmly in position.
4. Use a 14 mm spanner for the joint bolts to pull the
blocks together.
5. Tighten all four bolts alternately, compressing the
seal to 1–2 mm.
The connector is attached to the strut with self-tappping screws and is tightened with a size 14 spanner.

Connection to Angle section
(EUTA b = 1–4)
The connector is attached to the top/bottom with selftapping screws and is tightened with a size 14 spanner.
N.B! Make sure that the joint bolt is located in the
bottom of the screw pocket throughout the
tightening process. The cone of the joint bolt
will then fit into the cone of the screw pocket
(see Fig. 10).

Connection to next EU block
Fit the self-tapping screws in the existing holes in the
frame profiles, and tighten the connector with a size
14 spanner.

On size 60–84 units, place the cover trim on the joint
where the folded edges of the roof sections meet and
secure it by applying light hammer blows to ”snap”
it on.
To fit the roof joint
The EUBZ-01 roof is fitted to each individual unit at the
factory as shown in Fig. 13.
