Tux math
Getting started?
To open Tux math, double click the Tux math application icon (shortcut) on the
desktop.
How to Play?
Mission:To save Penguin’s igloos from the comets falling from the sky. If you
accomplish the mission you win.
How to achieve it?

1)
You can choose either of the following player modes:
Play alone Mode:

This is Single player mode.

After choosing this mode, you will see a list of options. Click on “Math
command training academy”. Once you choose, a screen which shows
a list of all lessons like Number Typing, Addition: 1 to 3, etc.

Lessons are from simple number typing through addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division of positive and negative numbers. If you
want to see more lessons click on the arrow pointing towards your right
at the bottom left corner of the screen. Choose one lesson.

Now you can start playing by hitting the number key(s) i.e. your secret
key followed by a ‘space’ or an ‘enter’ Key. Observe the comets falling
from the sky and melting the penguin’s igloos.

To save their homes, you need to find the secret code that will zap
each comet. To stop comet find the Secret key by answering the math
problem and hitting ‘space’ or ‘enter’.
2)
Play with Friends Mode:

This is multiplayer mode.

More than one player can play in this mode. Here you will be asked to
enter the names of the Players and the number of levels you wish to
play.

All the Players get a chance to play in the order of their entered
names.

You can also try all other game lessons.

To exit the game anytime, click Quit icon on the Main Menu or alternatively
move your cursor to ‘X’ symbol at the top right corner of the screen.
Explore:
(For help on individual commands refer TuxMathHelp.doc)
Play and find out the math lesson using which two numbers can be subtracted.
Find out the lesson, play the game and prepare a list of numbers that are
multiples of 7.
Tuxmath 2
Pick the lesson ‘Division of Positives and Negatives’. Play a game. While playing
prepare a table showing math problems[falling comets] with answers. Count the
positive and negative numbers from the answer column.
