For free you can enjoy hundreds of full simulcast broadcasts-a-year of live classical music
performances including concerts, operas, ballets, documentaries, etc., on your home computer
at http://www.medici.tv/ The website, headquartered in Paris, offers live performances from
well-known summer festivals like Salzburg, Aspen, Aix-en-Provence, as well as year-round from
Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Paris Opera, and American artists and orchestras on
tour, etc. Following such live performances, they are available for replay, again for free, for
several weeks. A subscription ($11.01/mo, or $101.15/yr) gives you access to their complete
catalogue of 1500 performances. Although easily available on the internet, apparently there is
a way to connect it to special t.v. sets such as Samsung Smart TV’s. (If any reader successfully
connects Medici.tv to their television set, please let this writer know and I will share your set-up
