Rules & Regulations
Objective
This tournament is organised for nEbO to foster and promote goodwill, comradeship,
friendship, and sportsmanship amongst the bowling interest community among
nEbOians.
Eligibility
1. Open to all nEbO members with valid membership.
2. Current National Squad, National Development Squad Bowlers are not allowed to
participate in this tournament.
Details of Quarterly Series and Grand Final
1. This is a 10 pin individual bowling event.
2. The tournament will comprise of various preliminary round on quarterly basis
and Grand Final event.
3. Preliminary rounds will be held from June 2012 to December 2012 at selected
Orchid Bowl centre on every 2nd Sunday of the month between 10am to
1.00pm. (Subjected to changes)
4. Grand Final will be held on March / April 2013.

Top 28 bowlers
from the preliminary rounds will be invited to a
selection roll off to select TEAM nEbO to represent in tournament and
leagues.
6. Breakdown of the each selection process for representation for Team nEbO:a. Top 8 to 10 Bowlers > U Bowling Road To Championship
b. Top 4 to 6 Bowlers > Singapore International Open and National
c. Top 4 to 6 Bowlers > Overseas Representation (To be confirmed)
Bowl for Goals
Format
1. This is a 10-pin individual bowling event, 6 games series for preliminary
rounds and 8 game series for Grand Final.
2. There will be a ranking system for individual preliminary rounds whereby
bowlers will be given ranking points in order to qualify for the Grand Final.
3. Bowlers are required to shift to the next pair of lanes on the right, after every 2
games.
4. Tabulation of total points will be posted up on the notice board of all Orchid
Bowl centres, Orchid Bowl website, Orchid Bowl Facebook and nEbO
website.
5. Grand Final on March 2013 will be based on the top
28 bowlers.
6. Special bonus points will be made available for bowlers who have participated
in previous month preliminary rounds. (Example: In 1st Preliminary Round,
bowler A came in 1st position, he / she will get 12 points. He / she took part
in 2nd Tour, he / she came in 4th position, instead of 8 points awarded to him
/ her in 2nd tour, he / she will be awarded double ranking, which is 16 points
for 2nd Preliminary Round)
7. Ranking Points is as follows:
Champion
– 12 points,
2nd Position
– 10 points
3rd Position
– 9 points,
4th Position
– 8 points
5th Position
– 7 points
6th Position
– 6 points,
7th Position
– 5 points
8th Position
– 4 points
9th Position
– 3 points,
10th to 12th Position
– 2 points
13th to 15th Position
– 1 points.
Bowl for Goals
Handicap
1. Ladies bowler will be given 10 extra points for every game bowled in
preliminary rounds.
2. These handicap systems are applicable at the Grand Final as well.
Awards
Bowling Centre House Awards and Perfect Game award will not applicable to the
whole tournament.
Entries, Entry Fee and Venue
1. Venue of the Quarterly series will be held at any of the Orchid Bowl centres on a
rotational basis:

3. Grand Final event will be held on March 2013 at Orchid Bowl @ eHub. (To Be
Advised Nearer to Date)
4. The Entry Fee for each Preliminary Round is at $28 per pax for nEbO members.
5. One time Entry Fee for non-nEbO members participating in the 1st Preliminary
Round is at $38 per pax (includes 1 year membership).
6. For existing nEbO members who have signed up for the event, 50 LinkPoints will
be credited into your account within 7 working days after the event registration.
7. For new nEbO members who have signed up for the event and yet to receive the
nEbO membership card, 50 LinkPoints will be credited into your account within 3
to 4 weeks after the event registration.
8. Grand Final registration fee is at $50 per qualifier.
9. Preliminary Round consists of 6 games for each bowler.
10. Grand Final consists of 8 games for each bowler.

Verification of Scores
It is the responsibility of each bowler to verify the correctness of the games bowled
(Score will be posted on notice board after every 2 games in holding centres), which
will be used as the official score recorded.
After every preliminary round, results will be posted on all Orchid Bowl venues and
Facebook within 2 weeks from completion of each tour.
Tie-Breaker
Should a tie occur in the qualifying positions in the preliminary round, tiebreaker shall
be determined by the highest series bowled for the bowler last preliminary round on
scratch pinfalls. This will be used and repeated until the tie(s) is/are broken. If there is
a tie in the Grand Finals, the highest games bowled will be used to determine the
position.
Others
Any matter arising which is not covered in this tournament’s Rules and Regulations,
the tournament committee, whose decision shall be final, will decide the regulation.
