1st Netball Letter

NETBALL FOR 2017 SEASON
If your child would like to play netball this year for the school please read the information
and fill out the player registration form and return to Mrs Thorby / Mrs Rayner.
If your child has never played before, that’s fine.

Year 5 & 6
Year 1, 2, 3 & 4

6th May - Saturday
18th May - Thursday afternoons
$70.00 per player – this must be paid as soon as
possible.

Future Ferns
Year 1 & 2 – play 4-a-side
Year 3 & 4 - play 5-a-side
play at Te Pai courts on Thursday afternoons.
b)
Year 5 & 6
play at Te Pai courts on Saturday mornings/afternoons
UNIFORM:
NB:
Your UNIFORM will be issued when fees are paid!
Netball tops/skirts/shorts – school to provide
Black netball knickers or the like (no white or coloured undies)
White ankle socks, netball shoes/sneakers
No jewellery of any kind to be worn. If you have a medic alert bracelet this must be
covered. (No earrings are to be worn!! So, please this not the time to get your ears
pierced.)
e. Hair to be tied up and away from the face / in plaits. No fancy hairclips etc. to be worn.

Year 5 & 6 Thursday 3:15p.m. till 4:30p.m.

We require coaches for the Year 1, 2, 3 & 4 teams. (If we get enough players)
Please contact me if you can coach.
If you can help – wash bibs, umpire, car pool etc. - talk to your child’s coach.
REMEMBER CHILDREN: You are representing our school when you wear your netball
uniform, use your best behavior at all times
e. Remember your water bottle (not fizzy), jacket/sweatshirt.
