RENTALS - Terms and Condition

I am 18 years of age or older.
I understand that this Agreement is legally binding between myself and Textbook Solutions, Inc.
The information I have provided that corresponds to this rental contract is complete and accurate. The credit or debit card I have on file is valid, and will
remain valid and updated throughout the rental period. I will not cancel nor exceed the limit on my credit or debit card.
4. The textbook(s) and/or course related material(s) that I have rented fall under the same refund policy which was set when renting the textbooks. If I do
not want/need the rental(s), I will return the rental(s) within the refund policy stated. Returning the rental(s) during the refund period will void this
Agreement as long as I do not have any outstanding rented textbook(s) and/or course related material(s).
5. I will return the rented textbook(s) and/or course related material(s) to the bookstore that I rented from by the rental return date stated at the time of
rental. I understand that if I do not return the textbook(s) and/or course related material(s) by the stated rental return date, I will pay a Non-Return
fee, which will be the difference between the rent price and the list price, for each textbook and/or course related material that was not returned. It is
my responsibility to remember, keep track of, and abide by the rental return date. Any notifications from Textbook Solutions that I receive are a courtesy,
not a requirement.
6. I understand that the Non-Return fee may be charged in as many as 3 different parts. At the end of the initial rental period, I will pay 20% of the NonReturn fee to extend my rental by 1 week. At the end of that extension, I will pay an additional 20% of the Non-Return fee to extend my rental by 1 more
week. At the end of the second extension, I will pay the remaining 60% of the Non-Return fee.
7. I will pay in full all applicable fees and charges if I neglect to comply with any of the terms and conditions specified here.
8. I understand that if my debit or credit card is declined I will be charged an additional processing fee of $30 and will be notified by email that my credit or
debit card was declined and I will have 15 days to pay the total amount due before my account is turned over to a third party collection agency.
9. Upon returning the textbook(s) and/or course related material(s), I will ensure that the condition of the rental(s) is in salable condition. I acknowledge that
the salable condition is left solely to the discretion of Textbook Solutions, but generally means that the spine is intact, there is no damage to the cover,
pages, or contents, all of the pages are still intact, all supplements or components such as CDs are present, and I have not excessively highlighted, written,
or made other markings in the rental. All loose-leaf textbooks must be in a binder or in some other binding that is deemed acceptable by Textbook
Solutions. If the rental is deemed to be “not in salable condition,” I will be charged the same Non-Return Fee as if I did not return the rental, and I will then
take ownership to all rights of the textbook(s) and/or course related material.
10. I acknowledge that during the rental period, the rented textbook(s) and/or course related material remains property of Textbook Solutions, Inc. By
accepting the Rental(s) and paying the rental fee, I am allowed to use this property and am also bound to this Agreement. When the rental period is over, I
will no longer be bound to this Agreement and will lose all rights to the Rented Material. I am responsible for loss or theft of this property.
