ECUADOR: LENIN MORENO HEADED TO WIN IN FIRST ROUND

One week before the Ecuadorean Presidential Election, socialist candidate Lenin
Moreno is leading the race, according to a Georgetown University Center for Latin
American Studies Poll released today.

According to Ecuadorian regulations, Moreno will win in first round as he overcome
40% of valid votes (without void ballots) and has a distance of 22 points with the
second candidate.
From February 5-8, The Georgetown University Center for Latin American Studies
surveyed 6.236 voters in 24 provinces of Ecuador (plus or minus 2.3 percentage
points), as a public service and for research.
