Path to Transformation

Delegate: There should only be 5-6 delegates to a table at most
Round tables with paper tablecloths. Paper tablecloths will support the logical progression of the
conversation, allowing delegates to write their reflections and build on the conversations that have gone
before.
Table facilitator: Each table will require a facilitator to keep time and note the discussion. The role of the
facilitator is not to lead or drive the discussion towards an intended outcome. However it may be
necessary for the facilitator to gently bring the group back to the question posed.
Menus – This unique Academy Café tool poses the question and focuses the
discussion (whilst keeping in with the theme!)
The PATH to transformation – to capture the key points of the discussion
and inform any output accordingly. This should be populated with post-its
showing the current position to the left and where we want to go on the right
(the more radical and transformative the better). The substance is in the
middle where the discussion has highlighted steps required, barriers or
opportunities that may or will help to achieve the transformed status. This
should be placed on the wall with the PATH principles clearly referenced – to
remind and align the groups with the Academy agenda.

Comments Card – At Academy Café’s, if appropriate, a tool to provide
reflections and feedback on the input the session may have on your day to
day practice.
