All these girls want is a chance to play…
…but they need YOUR support
In my ville known as Gueoul (Senegal, West Africa), 1 in 5 girls do not
continue their education past the primary level. They are often taken
from school to help with housework or to marry young. Sports provide
a platform to educate girls, women, and their communities about
women's rights and can ultimately open doors to many career and life
opportunities.
To donate equipment to Gueoul Senegal’s first girls soccer league,
“Gueoul Girls Cup 2011”, (cleats, shin guards, pinnies, cones, goalie
gloves, uniforms, socks, and more), please contact U.S. Peace Corps
Volunteer (and former Arlington Travel Soccer player of 8 years)
