A. The site walk began at Morin’s Landscaping, 309 Depot Rd at 5:00pm.
This site lies some 580 feet behind the Morin’s Landscaping main office area that fronts on
Depot Road and will be accessed via an existing driveway. The driveway turns into gravel in the
rear of the site where two canvas storage building exist, along with other landscape materials on
the northwest portion of the site. Wetlands adjoin the proposed building, but the construction is
proposed outside of the buffer areas. The access road and drainage areas will be within the
wetland buffer.
B. Cormier explained the staked layout to the group. He described where the front and rear of
the proposed warehouse will be along with the detention area and septic tank location. He
explained that the detention basin will be raised 4’ and the need for tree removal. The new lot
line between Morin’s Landscaping and Puritan Press was pointed out by means of stakes.
The chairman asked the Board if there was any concern and no one had any.
The site walk continued through the back woods of Morin’s Landscaping to Puritan Press.
B. The second leg of the site walk began approximately at 5:10pm.
The applicant wants to construct a 12,166 square foot addition to the existing building for
warehouse and office use. The addition will be added onto the very rear of the existing building
with very little visibility available from Route 111. In addition, the existing parking lot will be
restriped and additional parking spaces added along the front western property line, increasing
onsite parking from 51 spaces to 72 spaces.
B. Cormier walked the group around the outside perimeter of Puritan Press explaining where the
gravel road would be, the location of the Fire Dept. access road, new parking area and the new
detention wall.
The chairman asked if there was any concern or questions, no one had any. The meeting was
recessed at 5:20pm to be continued at 7:00pm at the Hollis Town Hall. Motion made by B.
Beauregard, seconded by R. Hardy.
