To scope, plan and successfully manage the delivery of the assigned
change programme

1. To develop, implement and maintain a set of programme products
(documents such as PID and plan, communications and quality
assurance
strategies
and
communications
plans,
supporting
management systems and interdependency mapping) needed to achieve
successful implementation.
2. To manage, coach and mentor the Programme team (Project Managers,
Project Officers and Programme Support staff).
3. To develop and maintain an expert working knowledge of the Change
Programme and therefore be a point of reference, information and
expertise.
4. To be responsible for directing and leading initiatives and supporting
work streams that supports the delivery of the Change Programme
ensuring control systems are established to map progress.
5. To pro-actively manage the quality and performance of the Change
Programme and its products thereby ensuring supporting work-streams
are delivered.

Communication:
1. To keep the SRO, Programme Director/Head of the Change Team,
Change Board and major stakeholders sighted on key risks, issues and
decisions – escalating where appropriate.
2. To work with the SRO and Programme Director/Head of the Change
Team to ensure the programme secures effective engagement at all
levels within Leicestershire Police
3. To develop and maintain key management information ensuring the SRO
and others are fully briefed on status and risks and issues.
Administration:
1. To manage the programme budget and other resources where
designated/appropriate to do so.
General
