Denim League – 5-8 year old Fundamentals is focused on while the first three innings are pitched with
the machine and live player pitching is introduced. If the pitcher doesn't strike out the batter then the pitching
machine will be used with a 1 and 1 count.
Minor League – 9-10 years old live player pitching is introduced. Skill levels increase as does the speed
of the game. At this level players start to understand strategy as the game has less restrictions than lower levels
Major League – 11-13 years old (50/70) Advanced play. Skill level is significantly higher than minor.
Play is faster and pitching becomes more consistent and accurate. Strategy becomes an integral part of the game.
Junior League – 14-18 years old even more advanced play. Skill level is higher than Majors and strategy
is a must at this level of play.
ALL FALL BALL REGISTRATION includes t-shirts & hats for players to keep. Our goal is to get 6 teams
in each division so we can stay at Valpo, and not travel to other parks. Any division with less than 6
teams will travel to Portage and Hobart throughout the fall season. Fall ball is an opportunity for
players who enjoy the game of baseball to continue playing after the regular season is over. We
offer weekly games that will to continue to test the ball player’s abilities and learn some new skills.
The Fall season we intend to drop boundary walls and open our park to all who want to come and
play ball, regardless of where they live.
