Third Party Software Attributions, Copyrights, Licenses and Disclosure
Qlik® DataMarket
Certain third party data components are integrated and/or redistributed with the Qlik DataMarket data as a service
offering. Such third-party components include terms and conditions, such as attribution and disclaimers (collectively
"Third Party Disclosures") for which disclosure is required by their respective owners. This document sets forth such
Third Party Disclosures for Qlik Data Market software as of the date set forth below. This Third Party Disclosure is
also available on the Qlik web page located at http://www.qlik.com/license-terms. NEITHER QLIKTECH
INTERNATIONAL AB NOR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY, “QLIK”) MAKES ANY REPRESENTATION,
WARRANTY OR OTHER COMMITMENT REGARDING SUCH THIRD PARTY COMPONENTS.
Eurostat
Eurostat Data is © European Union, 1995-2015
Except for restricted data listed below, Eurostat Data can be reused without any payment or written licence
provided that: (1) the source is indicated as Eurostat; and (2) when re-use involves modifications to the data or text,
such modifications must be stated clearly to the end user of the information.
The following Eurostat data and documents may not be reused for commercial purposes:
a. Data identified as belonging to sources other than Eurostat.
b.
Publications or documents where the copyright belongs partly or wholly to other organizations, for example
concerning co-publications between Eurostat and other publishers.
c.
Data on countries other than:
- Member States of the European Union (EU)
- Member States of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA)
- official EU acceding and candidate countries.
Examples are data on the United States of America, Japan or China. Often, such data are included in Eurostat
data tables. In such cases, a re-user would need to eliminate such data from the tables before reusing them
commercially.
d.
Trade data originating from Liechtenstein and Switzerland (as declaring countries), from 1995 onwards, and
concerning the following commodity classifications: HS, SITC, BEC, NSTR and national commodity
classifications.
e.
Trade data originating from Austria (as a declaring country) for a level of detail of the Combined Nomenclature
of 8 digits; it is not allowed to sell export/import data declared by Austria (concerning the above named
commodity classifications), but it is allowed to sell Austrian export/import data declared by another EU Member
State.
Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis
FRED data services are generally available for personal use. Certain FRED data series are owned by third parties. Before
using data owned by third parties for anything other than your own personal use, you must contact the data owner to
obtain permission. The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis cannot give you such permission, and making the data series
available through FRED does not constitute such permission. Copyrighted series include the word "copyright" and the
copyright symbol in their title.
The Qlik DataMarket offering uses the FRED® API is not endorsed or certified by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
You may not do any of the following in connection with your use of the FRED data series:
a. Use "FRED®" or "ALFRED®" or “Federal Reserve Bank” or any variation thereof in the hostname of your application,
i.e. FRED.mydomain.com.
b. Use the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis logo or any trademark, service mark, trade name or any other mark of the
Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary rights notices (including copyright and
trademark notices) that may be affixed to any FRED data.
c. State or in any way imply that your application, web site or product is endorsed, recommended or favored by the
Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
You are required to comply with all export laws and restrictions and regulations of the Department of Commerce, the
United States Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC"), or other United States or foreign
agency or authority, and you shall not export, or allow the export or re-export of the FRED data in violation of any such
restrictions, laws or regulations.

National Cancer Institute
All public domain data from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) website, www.cancer.gov is not subject to copyright
restrictions. No special permission is required to use or reproduce public domain material.
All material and data reproduced from NCI should acknowledge NCI as the originator and the NCI website,
www.cancer.gov, as the source. The source can be cited as: The website of the National Cancer Institute
(http://www.cancer.gov).
You cannot use the registered trademark logos for NCI, NIH, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS),
or PDQ in your materials or applications, including any translations.
NCI's logo is trademarked and cannot be used without consent. Questions regarding use of the NCI logo should be

PDQ is a registered trademark and its use requires a licensing agreement with NCI.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
You may not claim any National Weather Service (NWS) data as your own, use any NWS data in a way that
implies an endorsement or affiliation with NOAA/NWS or modify the content of the data and then present it as
official government material. You also cannot present information of your own in a way that makes it appear to be
official NOAA/NWS information.
Use of the NWS name ("National Weather Service") and/or visual identifier are protected under trademark law and
may not be used without permission from the NWS. Permission may be requested at
http://www.weather.gov/logorequest. Permission is not required to display unaltered NWS products which include
the NWS name or NWS/NOAA visual identifier as part of the original product, provided that neither the name nor
visual identifier may be used in a manner that implies an endorsement or affiliation with NOAA/NWS.
The user assumes the entire risk related to its use of NWS information. NWS provides such information "as is," and
NWS disclaims any and all warranties, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) any implied
warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will NWS be liable to you or to any third
party for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages or lost profit resulting from
any use or misuse of this data.
As required by 17 U.S.C. § 403, third parties producing copyrighted works consisting predominantly of the material
appearing in NWS Web pages must provide notice with such work(s) identifying the NWS material incorporated
and stating that such material is not subject to copyright protection.
Use of Third-Party Data and Products including in NWS data:
o Third-party information and imagery are used under license by the individual third-party provider. This
third-party information may contain trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, domain names, and
other distinctive brand features to identify the source of the information. This does not imply an
endorsement of the third-party data/products or their provider by NOAA/National Weather Service. Please
contact the third-party provider for information on your rights to further use these data/products.
o Google Earth™/Google Maps™/Esri ArcGIS Online. Google Maps and Google Earth map information and
photographic imagery are used under license by Google. Esri ArcGIS Online map information and
photographic imagery are used under license by Esri. NOAA/National Weather Service data presented
using Google Earth, Google Maps, or Esri ArcGIS Online map services are in the public domain and are
also made available in open geospatial standard formats such as KML/KMZ (Google) and shapefile (Esri)
among other common formats from NOAA/NWS websites. The map information and photographic
imagery contain trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive
brand features. This does not imply an endorsement of Google, Google Earth, Google Maps, or Esri
ArcGIS Online mapping products or services by NOAA/National Weather Service. Under the terms of the
license, you are permitted to copy or use the Google Earth, Google Maps and/or the Esri ArcGIS Online
images on your site so long as the Google Earth, Google Maps and/or Esri trade names, trademarks,
service marks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features are not deleted or in any

Copyright protection is not available for any work of the United States Government (Title 17 U.S.C., Section
105). You may reproduce census materials in your materials and applications, provided that you cite the U.S.
Census Bureau as the source.
The following statistical compendia volumes contain copyrighted material: Statistical Abstract of the United
States, City and County Data Book, State and Metropolitan Area Data Book, and USA Counties. In the event you
wish to publish these data or tables, you should contact the cited company or agency for permission.
Weather Source LLC
All rights to the Weather Source data remain with Weather Source. Redistribution of the Weather Source data to
third parties outside of QlikView® and Qlik® Sense is not authorized. Licensees of QlikView and Qlik Sense may
export Weather Source data to excel/pdf/word formats solely for their internal use only.
You must attribute Weather Source data you display on a public website, public mobile application or in any other
public forum.
World Bank:
By using the World Bank Datasets, you agree to provide attribution to The World Bank and its content providers in
the following format: The World Bank: Dataset name: Data source (if known).
You may make non-commercial use of the Datasets, but you may not make any commercial use, including without
limitation reselling them, charging to access them, charging to redistribute them, or charging for derivative works
based on them. The foregoing license is conditioned upon your providing proper attribution to The World Bank and
its content providers in the following format: “The World Bank: The World Bank authorizes the use of this material
subject to the terms and You may not publicly represent or imply that The World Bank is participating in, or has

Xignite, Inc.
All rights to the Xignite data remain with Xignite. Redistribution of the Xignite data to third parties outside of
QlikView and Qlik Sense is not authorized. Licensees of QlikView and Qlik Sense may export Xignite data to
excel/pdf/word formats solely for their internal use only.
You must attribute the Xignite Data you display on a public website, public mobile application or in any other public
forum. Public web pages or mobile applications that display the Data must provide attribution using a currently
