BLACKJACK
The object of Blackjack, the most
popular game in the casino, is to draw
cards that will come closer than the
dealer to 21, but not exceed 21. The game
begins with the player making a wager in
the area designated on the table. Each player receives
two cards and the dealer receives two cards, one card
face down and the other card face up.
RULES
Cards are counted at their face value. All face cards
count as 10. Aces count as either 1 or 11. A blackjack is a
total of 21 on the original two cards. Blackjack pays one
and a half times the bet. A blackjack cannot lose; it will
tie (push) if the dealer has a blackjack.
When dealt Blackjack and any other two-card
combination, the player can stand (refuse additional
cards) or, when it’s one’s turn, signal the dealer for a hit
(receive additional cards). If the player’s hand is closer to
21 than the dealer’s, the player wins. If the dealer’s hand
is closer to 21 than the player’s, the house wins. In the
event of a tie, neither hand wins nor loses. The dealer
hits soft 17 and stays on a hard 17 or higher.
SPLITTING PAIRS
When the first two cards received are of the same
value, the player has the option of SPLITTING them to
form two separate hands. Pairs may be split three times
for a total of four hands. The wager on each hand must
equal the original wager. Each hand may be hit as many
times as desired. When splitting Aces: Each Ace may
receive one card only. Aces may be split only once.
DOUBLE DOWN
Players have the option of increasing their original
wager by DOUBLING DOWN after the first two cards
are received. The DOUBLE DOWN wager may be an
amount up to the amount of the original wager.
The hand receives one additional card only. On
shoe games a person may DOUBLE DOWN after a
split, but may not DOUBLE DOWN after
splitting Aces.
2
INSURANCE
When the dealer’s up card is an Ace, the player may
make an additional wager known as INSURANCE.
INSURANCE protects the player’s hand against the
possibility of the dealer having a blackjack. At the
dealer’s prompt, one may wager up to half of the
original wager. The player is betting that the dealer’s
hole card has a value of 10. If the hole card has a value
of 10, the INSURANCE wager is paid 2 to 1. If the hole
card is not a value of 10, the INSURANCE wager loses.
Remember: The INSURANCE wager is completely
separate from the original wager. The game continues
as normal after the INSURANCE activity is settled.
SPANISH 21
Spanish 21 follows The Horseshoe Standard Blackjack
Procedures with the following exceptions: Spanish 21 is
played with no "10"s, players win on all blackjacks and
are paid immediately, players win on all hands totaling
21 and are paid immediately.

Players may split cards of equal value, including Aces, up
to three times (four hands). Hitting and doubling of split
hands including Aces is allowed. Bonuses are paid on
non-doubled split hands. Splitting or doubling voids
SUPER BONUS.
DOUBLE DOWN
Players may double down on any total and any number
of cards including doubling down after splitting. After
doubling, players may choose to rescue (take back) the
doubled portion of the bet and forfeit the original bet.
Broken double down hands cannot be rescued.
SURRENDER
Players may surrender (forfeit) 1/2 of their original bet,
on their first two cards only. Late Surrender is allowed.
If the Dealer's up card is a face card or an Ace, the
Dealer must check for blackjack. If the Dealer does
not have a blackjack, the player may surrender 1/2
of their original bet.

MISSISSIPPI STUD
MISSISSIPPI STUD is a five card poker game played with
one standard 52-card deck and one yellow cut card.
There is one Dealer and up to six players. Players
compete against a pay table, not against the Dealer
or other players.
Players ante and receive two cards. They either fold or
buy the first community card betting 1x, 2x or 3x their
ante. When that card is revealed, they either fold or buy
the second community card at 1x, 2x or 3x their ante.
After that card is revealed, they either fold or buy the
third and final community card at 1x, 2x or 3x their ante.
After all three community cards have been shown, the
Dealer compares the player's hand (players two cards
plus the community cards) to the Pay Table (printed on
the lay out) and pays/takes or pushes in accordance.
WAGERS
• Ante- Players begin by placing wagers in the spot marked
“Ante”. This wager is required in order to receive two cards.
• 3rd Street- Once the players have reviewed their two-card
hand they can choose to either fold or bet by placing 1x, 2x
or 3x the amount of their ante wager on the “ 3rd Street ”
wagering area
• 4th Street- After the Dealer reveals the first community
card, players choose to fold or bet by placing 1x, 2x or 3x
the amount of their ante on the “ 4th Street ”
wagering area.
• 5th Street- After the Dealer reveals the second community
card, players choose to fold or bet by placing 1x, 2x or 3x
the amount of their ante on the “ 5th Street ”
wagering area.

CARIBBEAN STUD
CARIBBEAN STUD is a five-card progressive poker
game played against the house on a table similar to
that used in blackjack. Play begins with each player
placing an ante bet in the designated ante box.
Players receive five cards face down, and the dealer
receives four cards face down and one card face up. As
in traditional stud poker, players will not have an
opportunity to draw more cards and they must decide
whether to raise or fold. When a player folds, the ante
bet is forfeited. When a player plays, the raise bet is
double the ante bet.
After all players decide to raise or fold, the dealer’s
cards are turned face up. If the dealer does not have
an Ace/King or higher, the players are paid even
money on their ante bet and there is no action on
the raise bet.
If the dealer has an Ace/King or higher, the dealer’s
hand is compared to each player’s hand; in each case
the best poker hand wins. If the dealer’s hand beats
the player’s hand, the dealer collects the ante and the
raise bet. If the player’s hand beats the dealer’s hand,
the ante is paid even money and the raise bet is paid a
bonus amount according to the following schedule:

FOUR card POKER
Four Card Poker is a poker derivative of five-card stud.
Four Card Poker combines exciting bonus payouts along
with other wagers that give the player a chance to beat
the Dealer. The game consists of five cards for the
player, six cards for the Dealer and three separate
betting circles.
"Ace's Up" to play the hand value only. The Dealer's
hand has no bearing on this bet.
"Ante" A bet made before receiving cards in order to
have the opportunity to play against the Dealer.
"Play 1x to 3x Ante" After placing an Ante bet the
player has the option of betting one, two or three
times the Ante bet.
DEAL - Players receive five (5) cards to make four-card
poker hands. Dealer gets six (6) cards to make their
four-card poker hand with one of the cards being dealt
face up.
"Play" must at least equal the "Ante," but can bet up to a
maximum of 3x the "Ante bet."
The Dealer always qualifies.
If the player beats or ties the Dealer, the "Play" and
"Ante" bets win even money (1 to 1).
If the Dealer beats the player, the "Play" and "Ante" bets
lose. When a player bets both the "Ace's Up" and the
"Ante" he/she is playing against two separate pay tables
with two different criteria for payouts. In playing the
"Ante" wager, the object is to get a four-card poker hand
that beats the Dealer's best four-card poker hand. In
playing the "Ace's Up" wager, the object is to receive a
pair of aces or better. The "Ante" and "Ace's Up" wagers
do not have to be the same amount. Players receive the
"Ace's Up" payouts regardless of the Dealer's hand.
Players can wager anywhere from the table minimum to
the maximum allowed bet on either spot. However, the
"Play" wager must be from one (1) to three (3) times the
"Ante."
8
Premium hands of three-of-a-kind and higher receive
automatic payouts that are paid on the "Ante" wager.
Automatic Bonuses always win, even if the player loses
to the Dealer. The "Ace's Up" side bet wins when the
player has a pair of Aces or better.

Texas Hold’Em BONUS
Horseshoe Casino is bringing World Series of Poker
action to its legendary lineup of table games.
Based on the original gambling tournament that
flourished in Las Vegas under Horseshoe Founder Jack
Binion, Texas Hold’Em Bonus puts you head-to-head
versus the dealer.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
Players make an ante wager prior to the deal. After being
dealt their first two cards, players can either fold or make
another bet to continue playing. Then comes the
flop - three community cards face up. Players can check
or wager again to continue playing. That’s followed by
the fourth and fifth community cards - the turn and the
river - with a round of betting after each card is turned.
9
Any player with a poker hand that beats the dealer’s
wins. Players who win retain their ante bets and are
paid even money on the total of their flop, turn, and
river wagers. If the player’s hand is equal to the
dealer’s it’s a push.
When a player’s winning hand is a straight or better,
they are paid an additional amount equal to the ante.
There’s also an additional Bonus Jackpot Wager that can
be made before the start of the hand in which the player
can win regardless of how their hand matches up to the
dealer’s.

Craps
The game of CRAPS begins with the come-out-roll.
The dice are offered to players in a clockwise direction
around the table. The shooter selects a pair of dice and
tosses them past the stickperson to the other end of the
game. An effort must be made to bounce both dice off of
the wall at the end of the table. A player must bet either
the PASS LINE or the DON’T PASS LINE to be eligible
to shoot.
PASS LINE
On the come-out-roll: 7 or 11 wins; 2, 3 or 12 (craps)
loses. Any other number will be the point. To win, the
point must be repeated before 7 rolls. If 7 rolls before the
point the PASS LINE loses and the dice are offered to the
next shooter. A PASS LINE wager is a contract bet; it can
be increased but it cannot be reduced or removed, once
the point is established, until it wins.
10
DON’T PASS LINE
The DON’T PASS LINE is the opposite of the PASS LINE.
On the come-out-roll: 7 or 11 loses; 2 or 3 wins and 12 is
a standoff. Any other number becomes the point. If a 7
rolls before the point, the DON’T PASS wins. If the point
is repeated, prior to a 7, the wager loses. DON’T PASS
wagers, once the point is established, but may not be
wagered or increased.
COME BETS
COME bets are similar to the PASS LINE bets. They may
be made on any roll subsequent to the come-out-roll.
The COME rules are the same as the PASS LINE rules.
The only difference is that the dealer moves the wager
to a box that corresponds to the number that was rolled.
COME bets work on the come-out-roll; odds are off
unless otherwise stated.
DON’T COME BETS
COME bets are similar to the PASS LINE bets. They may
be made on any roll subsequent to the come-out-roll.
The COME rules are the same as the PASS LINE rules.
The only difference is that the dealer moves the wager
to a box that corresponds to the number that was rolled.
COME bets work on the come-out-roll; odds are off
unless otherwise stated.
PLACE BETS
PLACE BETS are a wager that a specified number (4, 5, 6,
8, 9, 10) will roll before a 7 rolls. The payoff is: 7 to 6 on
the 6 and 8, 7 to 5 on the 5 and 9, 9 to 5 on the 4 and 10.
To make a PLACE BET: Tell the dealer which number, or
numbers, are desired, and how much is to be wagered.
Set the bet on the apron in front of you and the dealer
will place it in the appropriate spot. Place bets stay up
until a 7 - out rolls, or the player specifies that they be
taken down or off. Place Bets are off on the come-out roll
unless otherwise stated.
11
FIELD BETS
FIELD BETS are a one-roll bet that may be made at
any time. Two & 12 pay double, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 pay even
money. Any other number loses. This wager is placed
and removed by the player.
BIG 6 & BIG 8
A bet on the BIG 6 or BIG 8 may be made at any time. If
the number bet rolls before a 7, the wager is paid even
money. This wager is placed and removed by the player.
ODDS
This wager is made as an addition to the PASS or DON’T
PASS, COME or DON’T COME bets. PASS LINE ODDS
are set directly behind the original PASS LINE bet by the
player. DON’T PASS ODDS are set beside the original
bet by the player. COME and DON’T COME ODDS are
set in place by the dealer at request of a player.
These wagers are paid according to the true odds of
the dice:

individually). Two and 12 pay 30 to 1; 3 and 11 pay 15 to 1.
ANY CRAPS
ANY CRAPS is a wager that includes 2, 3 and 12.

or before a 7 rolls. 4 and 10 pay 7 to 1, 6 and 8 pay 9 to 1.
HARDWAYS may be bet at any time. They are off on the
come-out roll unless otherwise stated.
ROULETTE
The ROULETTE wheel is divided into 38 spaces.
Numbers 1 through 36 are colored red or black.
The 0 and 00 are green. Wagers may be made with
casino cheques or the more commonly used
ROULETTE chips. When chips are purchased at the
table, the dealer will issue each player individually
colored chips. These chips help the dealer and the
players keep track of each person’s bets. These
ROULETTE chips have no value except at the game on
which they were issued. Please redeem them before
leaving that game.
Play begins when the players place their bets on the
numbered layout (see diagram). The dealer spins the
ball in the opposite direction that the wheel is spinning.
A few revolutions before the ball drops the dealer will
announce: “no more bets.” The dealer will mark the
number in which the ball has landed and pay all
winning bets accordingly.
13
ROULETTE PAYOFFS ARE:
mini BACCARAT
There are three ways to bet in Mini-Baccarat: the
bank, the player and/or the Tie. If the hands end
in a tie, there is no action on the bank's or player's
hand. All tie bets are paid 8 to 1. Each hand is dealt
two cards. The total of the two cards determines
whether a third card is drawn. The third card drawn to
the player determines whether the bank draws a card on
3,4,5 and 6. If the first two cards given to the bank and
the player's hand total 6 or 7, no third card will be drawn
with natural 8 or 9. 10's and face cards have no value.
Total the cards together and go by the last digit.

Pai Gow Poker
Pai Gow Poker is an exciting combination of regular poker
and the game of Pai Gow. From poker, a regular deck of
playing cards is used, including a joker. And players make
regular poker hands (pairs, straights, flushes, full houses,
etc.). From the game of Pai Gow, comes the concept of two
hands (a high hand and a low hand) as well as a 5%
commission paid to the house. In this game, the joker
is not a wild card, but may be used as an Ace or to
complete a straight, a flush, a royal flush, or a straight flush.
RULES
Each player is dealt seven cards of which the player
creates two hands. A two card hand (top hand) and a five
card hand (bottom hand). The rankings in each of the hands
are that of regular poker. The highest ranking two-card hand
being a pair of aces. And the highest ranking five-card hand
being five aces (using the joker as a fifth ace).
15
The five-card hand (bottom hand) must be of higher rank
than the two-card hand (top hand). The object of the game
is for both of the player’s hands to be of higher rank than
both of the dealer’s hands. If the player wins one hand and
the dealer wins the other, the bet is considered a push or tie.
If both of the dealer’s hands are higher than those of the
player, the bet shall lose.
Winning hands are paid at even money (1 to 1) and a
commission of 5% is collected immediately.
Fortune Bonus Bet
The Horseshoe will incorporate the Fortune Poker Pai Gow
version in to the game. Fortune Poker Pai Gow is identical
to the casino game Poker Pai Gow with the exception of the
Fortune Bonus Side Wager. The traditional procedures for
Poker Pai Gow are used, but Fortune Poker Pai Gow
incorporates an additional betting circle and a bonus
wager retention area (smaller circles located above the
players bonus bet circle to mark if the player is eligible for
an envy bonus) into the layout. The Bonus Wager Retention
Area is used by the Dealer to mark the bonus wager until
the win or loss on the side wager is determined. The player
is betting that from the seven cards received, they will
create a qualifying five-card poker hand. The wager wins
an odds payoff based on the rank of the five-card hand,
regardless of how the player sets their seven cards.
Additionally, if any player at the table makes a five card
hand of four-of-a-kind or better, the other players who have
made a Fortune Bonus Side Wager of at least $5.00, qualify
to receive the Envy Bonus payout from the Fortune Bonus
Schedule, regardless of whether their own hand was of a
qualifying nature. The seated customer has the option to
let anyone else play on his/her bonus as long as the total
accumulative amount does not exceed twenty-five dollars.
