Instead of commissioning us for one-off pieces of work (with the attendant risk that we
might not have the capacity to help you), you can pre-purchase a set number of days a
month, which you can use as you like on any of the services we offer, including:

In the long run this is a more cost effective approach for you, as it:
1. gets you a discount on our full price
2. allows you to spread the cost
3. gives you access to the full range of services we offer
4. gives you priority allocation of a bidwriter at busy times (this will be especially
relevant with busy ESF rounds to be announced at end of 2014 - you will only be able
to book the bid writer of your choice with our retained service packages)
In addition, every retained client is appointed a named Lead Consultant, who takes the lead
in ensuring they get all the support they need, and co-ordinating the involvement of other
consultants as necessary. If you’d like to know more about this, please let me know.
Retained Support: these packages are paid for on a monthly basis, for any length of time
from 3 months upwards, and can be for any number of days a month from 2 days upwards.

We offer considerable discounts off our standard daily rate for retained services (up to 33%)
– please contact us for information about prices.
Commission: all we ask in return for our generous discounts, is a fair commission payment
for each successful contract win, negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Contract Searches: we have a dedicated member of staff who reviews daily the
tendering/subcontracting opportunities that are publicised nationwide, and provides a
Contract Notification Service. This costs £250 + VAT per month, for which you get a regular
weekly bulletin of funding opportunities that we think might be relevant to you. If you then
want us to go on and write an application for you, you can either commission us to write
each bid on an individual basis, or you can save money by taking out a retainer with us. This
Contract Search service is free for retainer packages of 4 days and above.
Maximum Flexibility: we always try to ensure maximum flexibility, so, for instance, if in one
month you need to go over the agreed number of days you can always either “borrow” days
from future months, or if necessary purchase more; likewise if you don’t use all your days in
any month they can be carried over to future months. Once a year or so I will reconcile the
days you have actually used against the number you have paid for, so as to ensure you
aren’t getting too far ahead or behind.

Consortium Building or SPV - we construct supply chains for bids through access to a
large database of organisations and through supporting ventures to become contract
ready under the Investment and Contract Readiness Fund
Other Services:

SFA Register of Training Organisations: We are able to assist you with reviewing and
perfecting your online SFA Register of Training Organisations online submissions.

We also offer a Bid Review Service to review bids you have written.

Expressions of Interest/ PQQs: We complete high quality EOI and PQQs for
presenting to Primes and other organisations to win sub-contracts with them.

Social Impact Measurement: We provide accredited Social Return on Investment
reports through our partnership with CAN Invest.

Data/ Compliance/ Ofsted support: We provide a full contract readiness package as
well as post contract-win compliance support, Ofsted preparation, Matrix and
Investors in People assessment preparation.

Financial: We provide qualified accountants to assist with business planning and
financial modelling.
