FHSAA New Football Officials’ Uniforms
 Initially, the FHSAA was planning to change the FHSAA
football uniform in 2017 to 2 inch stripes
 Now, the FHSAA has pushed back changing the FHSAA
football officials’ uniform to some undetermined time
in the future and are now merely “looking into it”
 The earliest any change might occur now would be
2018 or 2019
Lanness Robinson Notes
 Enforcing illegal equipment penalties
– Rule 3-6-2d – Failure to properly wear legal or
required player equipment when the ball is about to
become live (5 yard penalty)
– Rule 9-8-1h – Failure of the head coach, following
verification, to have his/her players wear or use legal
and or required equipment (15 yard
unsportsmanlike conduct foul charged to the
head coach)
Pre-Season Activities
 Make sure you have the proper uniform and officiating
items.
 Make sure your uniform still fits. If not, there is plenty of
time to order the proper size and have them appropriately
altered.
