Monday – Beach ball Volleyball
4 person volleyball played with a beach ball.
Rules:
o 3 games will be played to 15.
o Rally scoring will be used, must win by 2.
o Serves can be from anywhere in the court (don’t have to start behind the back
line) and can hit the net.
o Maximum of 3 hits allowed during volley.
Scoring: Each team gets 5 points for showing up to their volleyball game. For each game you win you get an additional
5 points for a max of 20 points you can earn.
Tuesday – Closest to the Pin
Each player must hit a golf ball from 20 yards out to see who can get closest to the pin.
Rules:
o Participants may bring and use own club if desired.
o Each team member gets one chance to hit the ball.
o Balls will be measured after all 4 on a team hit. Then all balls will be cleared for
the next team to go.
o The ball closest to the pin, is awarded the 1st place points.
o In the event of a tie, one person will be selected from each team to get 1
additional shot to determine the winner.
Scoring: 1st place–20pts, 2nd place–16pts, 3rd place–12pts, 4th place–8pts, 5th place–4pts, 6th place–0pts
Wednesday – Target Shooting
Nerf guns will be used. Each player gets 3 shots at a bullseye target scoring points if their
shot lands in one of the scoring circles. Points will be tallied for each team. Team with
the most points takes 1st place.
Rules:
o All shooters must stand 20 feet away from the target.
o Shooters get 3 shots.
o If a bullet lands on a scoring circle line, a judge will determine where the majority
of the shot is and score accordingly.
o In the event of a tie of total points, one person will be selected from each team to get 1 additional shot
to determine the winner.
Scoring: 1st place–20pts, 2nd place–16pts, 3rd place–12pts, 4th place–8pts, 5th place–4pts, 6th place–0pts
Thursday – Track and Field (Athletics)
There will be 5 track and field events and each team member must do one event. The fifth
event will be completed by all 4 team members. For each event first place gets 6 points,
second place gets 5 points, third gets 4 points and so on. Points will then be tallied for the
day, to determine your overall place.
1. Shot Put (with bocce balls). 1 team member will be chosen to throw a bocce ball,
shot put style, as far as they can.
o He/she will stand in a designated area, hold ball to neck and throw.
o The ball must land in the designated area.
o Each participant gets 2 throws, the furthest throw wins.
2. Discus Throw (Frisbee toss). 1 team member will be chosen to throw a Frisbee as far as possible.
o He/she will stand in a designated area and throw.
o The Frisbee must land in a predetermined area.
o Each participant gets 2 throws, the furthest throw wins.
3. Hurdles (over small garbage cans). 1 team member will be chosen to run a 90 foot hurdle course as
fast as they can.
o Both feet must come off the ground when hurdling.
o Must not knock over the garbage cans.
o Each team will be timed and the fastest team wins.
4. Long Jump. 1 team member will be chosen to run and jump as far as possible.
o Team member can start up to 20 feet back.
o Distance measured will be perpendicular to the foul line to the nearest movement of grass
caused by any part of the body or clothes.
o Each team member gets 2 attempts.
5. 4 Person Relay. All 4 team members must participate in this event.
o A team member will be placed at each of the 4 corners of the LaForce Park perimeter, and employees
will run passing a baton to each.
o Baton must be handed off in designated area.
o First team to cross the finish line wins.
Scoring: Most points accumulated for the day will take first place. 1st place–20pts, 2nd place–16pts, 3rd place–
12pts, 4th place–8pts, 5th place–4pts, 6th place–0pts
Friday – Obstacle Course
This will incorporate the following Olympic events:
o Gymnastics
o Table Tennis
o Equestrian
o Swimming (don’t worry, not actually in water)
o Soccer
o Basketball
o Cycling
 Each team will complete the obstacle course on their own (not all 6 teams will go through the
course at the same time). Each team will be timed, and fastest time wins.
 Each team member must complete the event, before anyone can move on to the next.

The team with the most accumulated points throughout the week takes home GOLD!!!
