Many thanks to you all who participated. Please hand in your sponsor money to the office by Friday 7th April 2017. A clash between two old rivals and it was always going to be tough. From the kick off Queens started very strong, moving the ball around and finding space between Bournebrook's final third. Within a few minutes Queens was up 10 from some excellent positional play and one touch football from Charlie, Ava and Yusuf. Igor once again scoring with his head. Queens continued to pile on the pressure and were 2-0 up after some great individual skill from Yusuf. Bournebrook had a few chances near our goal but any real threat was broken down by the solid defence of Ashim and Sahan which meant that our goalie, Ahmet had very little to do. Second half was a more tighter game with Bournebrook pushing hard for a goal and finally getting their first goal midway through the second half. With very few chances for each side in the second half the game finished 2-1 to Queens. As expected the Queens team dominated in all aspects of the field and created chance after chance. One goal was followed by another and another. Each player was able to take a shot on the All Saints goal. Half time it was 4-0 to Queens. Second half was even more dominate from Queens with the goals going in and reaching 9-0. Queens needed another goal to lead the league on goal difference and that goal game from a beautiful volley shot from Santiago to make it 10-0 to Queens. That was the final score at full time. Well done to all the team. Queens are currently top of the league on goal difference. Man of the match goes to Yusuf and Santiago. Well done both!
