On behalf of the Beatrice Speedway Staff and the Gage County Ag Society we would like to sincerely THANK YOU
for choosing to race with us. We will do our part to be fair and consistent in our calls and your respect of these is greatly
appreciated. Please take time to read these procedures. It is your responsibility to know these, as we will cover only the
key parts each night in the drivers meeting.
Staging Area
The lineups will all be posted well in advance of your race and you need to be lined up TWO races in advance. If you are unable
to leave the staging area under your own power you will go to the tail of the race. If you are not in the staging area when your race
takes the track, you will start at the rear of the field provided the green flag has not been thrown. We will move straight up if cars on
not make staging.
Work Area
If you go to the pits in a heat, you are done for that race. You will be allowed to re-enter the track in a consolation or feature event
at the discretion of the officials under YELLOW conditions only. We will not wait for work to be completed, so please try and do it
in a timely manner.
NOTE: After Leaders takes turn on 2; you will not be allowed to re-enter the race track.
Tech/ Claim Area
You must report directly to this area after the completion of your race. The scale is located in the infield as it is part of the tech area.
Failure to report here will result in disqualification. Top four finishers in each A feature should pull to the top of turn 1.
Green Flag
The flag and the light will come out simultaneously and this will start the event. If you are passing before this point or before the cone
(in turn 4) you will be considered jumping and will be docked 1 position for each car passed. This penalty will be assessed during the
next yellow or at the completion of the race if another yellow does not occur. The front row starts the race on all initial starts. All other
starts will be single file. In the event you hit the cone, the race will go yellow and the penalized car will go to the rear.
White Flag
One lap to go.
Checkered Flag
Race is completed when at least one car takes the checkered flag. The race will finish green, white, checkered.
No yellow/checker finishes.
Yellow Flag
Caution for an incident or debris on the track. Drivers may be involved in only TWO yellows in each event. Any car involved in the first
yellow must go to the rear. Any car involved in their second yellow goes to the pit.
KEY WORD: INVOLVED - if you are stopped when the yellow comes out for whatever reason, you are considered involved.
Red Flag
Stop in a safe manner for a roll over, fire, or blocked track. Please stop at the top or bottom of the track; leaving turn 1 open for the
ambulance crew. Any car involved in this will get credit as one yellow. If you are not involved and have to get push started to resume
the race you will be put back in your running order. No crew members are allowed on the track and the drivers need to stay in their cars
unless an official gives the ok.
Black Flag
Disqualification or consultation. If you get black flagged for rough driving, you are done for that event. If you get black flagged for
debris hanging off the car, fluids, smoke, broken suspension, or flat tires you can rejoin the field once the problem has been cured
(only under yellow flag conditions). You will be black flagged for intentional yellows and not allowed back out for the remainder of the race.
The white flag lap is the only time you will be allowed to run with a flat tire or broken suspension unless deemed unsafe.

Lapped Cars
If you get lapped twice, you need to go off track.
Layover Flag
Slower cars will receive this when the leaders are coming up on them. Hold you line and let the lead pack pass. Do not race the
other lapped cars or lead cars at this time.
The Limits
One minute per lap on all events. If the time limit has expired and we have not reached the half way point, yellow flag laps will be
counted. Once the race resumes we race until the next yellow or the checkered.
Victory lane pictures will be done with the driver only at the completion of your feature event. At the end of the night we invite the
family and crew to join you for another photo opportunity.
Sportsmanship
Sportsmanship is a key thing at Beatrice Speedway. We have adopted a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for fighting or abusive behavior
on or off the track. Anyone fighting before, during, or after the races will be banned from Beatrice Speedway for the rest of the year.
Officials are not to be yelled at or cursed at any time. If you have a problem, see an official and the problem will be taken care of.
Do not take things into your own hands. Any fighting will result in the driver that they are involved with being suspended, at the
discretion of Beatrice Speedway.
Alcohol
No drinking of alcohol is allowed until the races have been completed. All offenders will be escorted off the grounds. DRIVERS are
responsible for their crew members and pit area.
All persons in the pits are required to have an arm band issued at the pit shack. Anyone caught without an arm band will be fined $40
(along with being escorted off the grounds) and not allowed in the pits until the fine is paid. DRIVERS are responsible for anyone in
their pit area.
Load Up of Car
No engines may “fire-up” 30 minutes after completion of races. $100 Fine to Driver of Race Car.
Yellow Flag
Be responsible and watch your speed. No one under 18 is allowed to operate said vehicles on the grounds. All said vehicles must be
parked 30 minutes after the final checkered flag. NO ENGINES MAY START 30 MINUTES AFTER COMPLETION OF RACES.
It will be considered a complete show when all the heats have been completed and no refunds will be given. In the event of rain, we will
pick up the next week where we ended and start the new show after all previous week’s races have been completed. Once a race is half
way over, it will be considered complete in the event of rain.
