Preparing Effective Tenders Workshop: Non Price Criteria What are the event details? Ensuring value for money is one of the key objectives of the Queensland Procurement Policy. Value for money is based on the principle of awarding contracts on the basis of reasonably priced tenders that provide the best overall outcome for that particular project - not necessarily the lowest price. There are many factors which can contribute to an organisation’s ability to deliver a value-for-money service to the Queensland Government, and is it essential that local businesses can respond to the non-price criteria in tenders in order to effectively compete for government work. The Preparing Effective Tenders: Non Price Criteria workshop will provide practical assistance to local businesses to assist them effectively respond to the nonprice criteria requirements of government tender opportunities. This workshop is offered by the Department of State Development in partnership with Building and Asset Services (the Department of Housing Works).
