SCHOOL
CHOICE
FAIR

Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
High School Choice activities are in full swing! Be sure to take home this
newsletter, have discussions with your parent/guardian and plan together to
attend open houses and the School Choice Fair (12/6/14; see left). These
newsletters are also available at www.baltimorecityschools.org/233.
Remember that admission to many BCPS high schools is based upon a
composite score determined by your 7th grade final grades, and your 8th grade
first quarter grades, TerraNova scores, and attendance.
The timeline we expect from the Office of Enrollment, Choice and Transfers
(ECT) for high school applications is that every student will receive his/her
application and official composite scores by mid-November. Your completed
application is due back to your school counselor by December 23, 2014.
Parents and students, feel free to call or email us ([email protected],
[email protected]) to schedule an appointment to discuss high
school options. School assignment letters will be mailed to your homes by the
Office of ECT on February 27, 2015.
