The Honor Code
Parent Agreement
Bethel Christian School recognizes that to implement its mission, the school and parents must enter
into an alliance. To be productive partners in this alliance, parents must understand and accept the
school’s mission and also the means by which this mission is carried out. Our Mission Statement is:
Bethel Christian School provides every student with a non-denominational, Christian education with
the highest academic standard.
Expectations of Parents
Parents are expected to participate actively in their child’s education.
 Parents are expected to attend parent conferences and parent meetings.
 Parents are expected to treat all Bethel Christian School personnel with courtesy and respect at
all times.
 Parents are expected to have their child/children at school no earlier than 7:30 a.m. and no later
than 8:00 a.m.
 Parents are expected to enforce the attendance rule policy with their child/children, which states
that a child/children can miss no more than 16 days per school year.
 Parents are expected to pick up their child/children by 3:00 p.m. and no later than 3:15 p.m. At
3:15, child/children who are not picked up will be taken to after school care and charged the
$5.00 daily fee.
 Parents are expected to provide positive learning conditions at home and to assure that their
child’s home assignments are completed in a timely, appropriate manner.
 Parents who have questions or problems concerning their children are expected to communicate
with the school in the following manner:
1) Parents should first contact the faculty member in whose area the question has
occurred. They should make every effort to resolve their question at that level.
2) In unusual circumstances, when the faculty member has not been able to resolve the
situation, parents should contact the Administrator.
I understand and accept the school’s mission and will see that my child/children abide by the Code of
Conduct and Dress Code. I agree to support the school in its implementation of these policies. Under
no circumstances will I sue Bethel Christian School.

Student Agreement

The student who enters this school becomes part of a non-denominational, Christian education with the
highest academic standard.
I understand that being a student at Bethel Christian School is a privilege that includes certain
responsibilities.
 I will make my academic work a priority and accept responsibility for working to achieve my
fullest potential as a student.
 As a driver, I will arrive at school no earlier than 7:30 a.m. and no later than 8:00 a.m. I will
exercise caution when driving on campus, park in the proper places and follow school vehicle
rules.
 I understand that I will be retained or not receive credit for classes if I miss more than 16 days
for the school year.
 I will treat all teachers and school authorities with courtesy and respect.
 I will follow school code of conduct, dress code, cell phone policy and all other Bethel
Christian School policies at all times.
 I will exhibit honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior in both academic and extra-curricular
endeavors. This binds me to never lie, cheat, or steal.
 I will respect other students and their property, as well as, the property of Bethel Christian
School.
 I will act in such a way as to bring dignity and respect to Bethel Christian School and to the
ideals for which the school stands.
I understand that if I fail to live up to these expectations, or fail to abide by the policies of the Bethel
Christian School, the school will follow an established disciplinary procedure.
