CBO Issues two Commemorative Coins On the Occasion of the 40 th
National Day
The Central Bank of Oman is pleased to issue two commemorative
coins (1Gold & 1Silver) on the occasion of the 40th National Day 2010.
Each coin depicts the 40th National Day coloured Logo.
These coins are Legal Tender for their face value and may be
purchased from the Central Bank of Oman. The distinctive features,
specifications and indicative selling prices of these coins are detailed in
the table below; however these prices are subject to change in
accordance with the variations in the prices of the bullion in the
International Market.
Distinctive Features
Obverse:
Coat of Arms, the name of the country (Sultanate of Oman), the name
of the Central Bank of Oman and Denomination in Arabic and English.
Reverse:
Each coin depicts 40th National Day coloured Logo.
