
Any space/place within which learning occurs


A space where the resources, time and
reasons are available to a group of people to
nurture, support and value their learning of a
limited set of information and ideas (Reiber,
2001)
A learning process for the teacher! (me)

According to the subject being studied.





Should be designed by the teacher.
Should be rich, complex and dynamic.
Have interactive walls, tools, corners
The more interactive, the more the
knowledge of a subject is deepened.
Interaction can be with the teachers, peers,
computers and walls.




Knowledge representative of the subject
The individual agent: the ability to do self
work and learn to regulate their goals.
Community: the class becomes a community
of knowledge the moment that students
share their knowledge with each other.
Assessment: The LE offers chances for
students to give feedback, reflection and
monitor their own work which is displayed in
class.






Don’t Panic! Building a LE takes time and
patience and is an ongoing process.
