CASE STUDY:
MVP HEALTH CARE GOES RETAIL
Fashion. Appliances. Gifts. Entertainment. You can shop for
many things at Colonie Center in Albany, NY. As of October
2015, you can add ‘health insurance’ to that list thanks to
a strategic sales and marketing initiative from MVP Health
Care and Colonie Center.
“It was a decision on our part to put a stake in the ground
about meeting people where they are,” said MVP Health
Care CEO Denise Gonick.
The integrated advertising and retail package included
on-mall advertising with column branding in the food
court as well as near the MVP Health Care unit, an
escalator wrap, floor decal, blade signs, large format
standees and iPad branding in the food court. Also
included were signature event sponsorship, a unique
community venue to use for events and placement of
their custom built HIPAA approved unit.
A DYNAMIC PRESENCE GOES BEYOND ADVERTISING
Shoppers can’t help but notice the brite red advertising of MVP Health Care as they walk thru
Colonie Center, but their presence is not just about advertising. MVP Health Care utilizes Colonie
Center as a community venue to interact with their target audience on a personal level.
UNIQUE COMMUNITY VENUE
SIGNATURE EVENT SPONSORSHIP

While MVP Health Care has a
strong presence in the Capital
Region, what they lack is an easily
accessible community venue to
conduct their outreach. Colonie
Center helps to fix this dilemma by
opening our doors for MVP Health
Care’s Striders Walking Club which
meets on a weekly basis.
Families shop Colonie Center and
our signature event programming
offers highly anticipated annual
events with free fun for the whole
family. Estimated attendence at
these events has proven to be
upwards of 2,000 people. Colonie
Center can put you right in the
middle of all the fun!
OFFERING EVEN MORE
Whether it’s a job fair, healthcare
expo or a place to park their
community outreach vehicle, MVP
Health Care always has a home at
Colonie Center. As a central location
and widely known landmark in the
region for the last 50-years, when
you’re at Colonie Center, your
audience knows where to find you.
