58th SCOTTBURGH AUGUST TOURNAMENT
We are pleased to confirm that Scottburgh Bowling Club will be hosting our
Scottburgh Week from Monday 7th August to Friday 11th August 2017.
The "REGISTRATION FORMS" can be done prior to arrival at SCOTTBURGH
BOWLING CLUB. These forms can be produced at your first game on Monday
morning. (Please advise if this option will be used).
The greens will be open to practice and all issues relating to the week will be issued
with the Registration Forms.
REGISTRATION shall be done at SCOTTBURGH BOWLING CLUB on both
Saturday 5th August and Sunday 6th August 2017 from 12 pm to 4pm.
If your "Team" is unable to register at SCOTTBURGH BOWLING CLUB on these
days - PLEASE ADVISE SO WE CAN MAKE THE NECESSARY FORMS
AVAILABLE FOR YOUR FIRST GAME ON MONDAY MORNING.
The format will be 2 games per day of 21 ends each, except Wednesday - Play 21
ends in the morning (afternoon off to enable the "Team" to visit to the town of
Scottburgh and the surrounding area).
Please note that session prizes will be awarded morning and afternoon. (i.e. Monday
to Thursday).
The Tournament will be run on a BONUS POINT SYSTEM. Briefly 1 point is earned
for EVERY END WON and a Bonus of 4 points awarded to the winner of each game
BASED ON TOTAL SHOTS FOR THE GAME.
Peeled games based on total shots for the game shall result in 2 bonus points for
each team. Any 'no shot' end will result in a half point for each team, and must be
clearly indicated on the score card.
Teams from 'mixed clubs' are required to be similarly dressed.
CONDITIONS of ENTRY:
1.
The Entry fee is R500.00 per team of 4 (or 5) players who need not be
from the same Club.
2.
The green fees will be R10.00 per person per day.
3.
No entry will be "logged" until full payment is received.
4.
No refund of Entry Fees will be made in respect of cancellations
received after 30th June 2017.
5.
If you do not intend to accept this invitation, please advise Ronny
Seymour.
6.
In the unlikely event of green space being limited, for any reason, “Last
in, First out” will apply, and refunds will be sent to the last to pay.
Completed forms plus proof of payment must be returned to me by 30th June
2017.
