Online Safety Induction PROCEDURE FOR SUBCONTRACTORS Step One As stipulated in all Blackwatch Projects Subcontractor Agreement, all contractors working on a Blackwatch Projects Site need to undertake an Online Safety Induction before they commence work onsite. Subcontractors are to go onto the Blackwatch Projects website and undertake the Safety Induction by clicking on the following icon. The online induction is broken up into two sections: First section is in regards to your personal details, this includes the project site you are working on, your contact details, your emergency contact person, work experience/history, medical details, and qualifications/licences. Please note: The Work Certifications and Competency section needs to be filled out with all the qualifications you hold. This includes, but is not limited to: Construction White Cards, First Aid Certificates, QBCC Contractor Licences, Trade Qualifications, Industry Tickets (ie: Working Safely at Heights, Confined spaces), Licence to perform high risk work etc. If you have a photocopy of your qualification please ensure you attach this to your Induction The second section is the Safety Induction Content. This provides you with the opportunity to take your time to read, comprehend and understand the Blackwatch Projects information provided at your leisure. This will cover all the common safety information that is applicable across all Blackwatch Projects Sites. Rev A Page 1 of 2 Step Two Once the Safety Induction has been submitted you will receive a copy of the induction form to the email address you previously entered in section one. Please print the Safety Induction form, review the content and sign the form to acknowledge all the information is correct. Step Three You are then required to bring the signed Safety Induction Form to site and hand it to the Safety Coordinator or Site Manager. You are also required to provide a photocopy of your qualifications (including White/Blue Cards) for the Safety Coordinator or Site Manager to retain for their records. Please Note: Trade specialist, ie: Electricians, Plumbers, etc MUST also provide a copy of their QBCC Licence. Step Four The Safety Coordinator or Site Manager is then to perform a final Site Specific Safety Induction. This is to cover all the information that is applicable to the particular site you are working at. This includes, but is not limited to: The site first aid officers, location of first aid kits and amenities, emergency evacuation procedures, emergency assembly point, etc. Another Safety induction form is to be filled out and signed off by all parties to acknowledge the Site Specific Induction has been conducted. This marks the final stage of the Safety Induction Process. At the end of the process you should have provided the following: 1. Signed Online Induction form (to be signed off by Safety Coordinator). 2. Photocopy of you licences and qualifications. The Safety Coordinator should provide the following: 3.
