ECR LOYALTY POINTS
How are they used and how to set them up?
ECR loyalty points work on the basis that a number of points can be redeemed after a
selected number of sales. To enable this go to Settings (40404) then in the Quick search at
the bottom of the page type LOYALTY. This menu will appear on your screen:
As you can see in this menu £1 is equivalent to 1point – Then on redeeming 1 point a penny.
You can select a minimum amount that will enable this option. Enter an amount (£3.00) –
this means that the points won’t be issued unless you spend £3 or more.
To make sure that the points are issued go to ITEM SETUP and select an item. When the
item screen opens you will see a tick box in the bottom left of the screen:
Tick this box to enable the points to be added to your total. You can also add BONUS POINTS
to certain items, simply enter the extra amount of points you wish to issue.
To enable loyalty redeeming go to TENDER SETUP. First name the tender to what you wish
(H.A.L.O and A.L.O are not needed here).
You can choose to issue a receipt to the customer and you must set the tender type to
LOYALTY. Finally you can tick the relevant boxes to suit the way you want the loyalty
redeeming to work.
Setting a customer to a group
To set a customer to a group got to Backoffice > Customer Menu > Customers. Select your
customer then click on Edit Details at the bottom of the screen.
This will let you select the group you want to assign the customer too. Bring down the drop
menu and select the relevant group.
Loyalty Group
Customers can be allocated to certain loyalty groups. Go to Backoffice > customer menu >
customer groups, here you can edit this screen accordingly. By adding a customer to the VIP
group it will enable them to get certain rewards such as price reductions on products and
discounts.
From this example you can see that a customer added to the VIP group will be entitled to
price brand 3 on items and they will get a 5% discount off their total.
How to view customer points earned?
To view the amount of points a customer has earned simply search for a customer. Go to
settings and in the bottom right you will see all the points that specific customer has earned,
how many points they’ve used, how many points are remaining and the total value of their
points.
Also if you wish you can ADD or SUBTRACT points from customers by clicking on the boxes
seen.
