Nakabayashi Department of Computational Science and Engineering, Toyo University, 2100 Kujirai, Kawagoe, 3508585 Japan Email: [email protected] Abstract The multidisciplinary analysis of incompressible fluid flow and rigid body motion is performed to investigate the behavior of the ball elevating by the effect of buoyant force. In the two dimensional analysis, the ball vibrates periodically by the effect of swing force generated by Karman vortex street behind the ball. Our final target is to investigate the reason the ball does not jump perpendicularly when it comes on the surface.
