Development of the Diffusion Control System using Air Shutter

Abstract
It often seems that the people are harmed by the smoke when a fire breaks out in the building. In such
situation, the fire wall is used for blocking the fire and smoke. But, it becomes difficult for the people to run
away through it. Applying the air curtain system to the Air Shutter proposed by this study, it will be possible
both to block the smoke and to escape from fire accident. In order to develop Air Shutter, some numerical
flow analyses are performed using ADVENTURE system.
