Part-Time Faculty Salary Increase On March 4, 2015, the CNMEU and CNM agreed to a 2% pay increase for Part-Time Faculty. The effective date of the increase is March 7, 2015. Part-Time Faculty Salary Increase The increase will be administered as a lump sum at the end of the semester which will be reflected on the May 22, 2015, pay check as a BK2. Starting summer term 2015, the Course Compensation Schedule will be adjusted to reflect the 2% increase. Updated Forms Criminal Conviction Form – You can complete the top of the form electronically • Applicant Name • Posting Number Print and give to applicant to complete Updated Forms Reference Check – Entire form can be completed electronically – Save to desktop and attach to documents tab in CNMJobs – No need to print document to complete HR/Business Offices Moving HR will be located in the northern most portables located between PPD and the KC building Payroll, Purchasing, and Contracts and Grant Accounting – Montoya Campus Budget – Oxford House Update to Education Benefit Policy for Part Time Faculty “Part-time faculty and their dependents are eligible for educational benefits as authorized by the CNM policy contained in the Employee Handbook, provided the parttime faculty member has a teaching assignment during the term in which the benefit is used.” Educational Benefit Tuition Waiver • Employee Tuition Waiver • Regular full-time are eligible for up to18 credit hours per year • Regular part-time are eligible for up to 9 credit hours per year • Dependent Tuition Waiver • Spouses, domestic partners, and dependent children until age 24 are eligible based on employee position • Regular full-time are eligible for up to 18 credit hours per term • Regular part-time are eligible for up to 9 credit hours per term • Security employees please refer to department **Tax Implications may apply ** With supervisor approval, FT employees may be granted 3 hours of release time Educational Benefit Tuition Reimbursement • Full Time Employee Benefit • Receive tuition reimbursement for institutions other than CNM • Receive up to 12 or 18 credit hours per year • Does not cover any non-tuition related expenses • Reimbursement is paid at institutional rate or current University of New Mexico rates based on the lesser amount **Part-time employees are not eligible for tuition reimbursement Any questions contact your HR Consultant.
