Amy Miller
Registered Veterinary Technician
Town and Country Animal Hospital
B.B.A. from UNM, 1999
Associate’s Degree from CNM, 2008
SHE GOT HER START AT CNM.
“Life is too short to not do what you love” is Amy Miller’s motto. After being in the workforce for several years with a bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico, Amy decided she wanted to return to the classroom.
Knowing her lifelong passion had always been to work with and care for animals, Amy decided to change course and enroll in
CNM’s Veterinary Technology program, which is one of only two in the state to be accredited by the American Veterinary Medical
Association. In 2008, she earned her associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from CNM with high honors and passed the
Veterinary Technician National Exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Shortly after, Amy was offered a full-time
position at Town and Country Animal Hospital, a local business heavily involved with training and preparing Veterinary Technician
students, like Amy, for the workforce. We are proud to call Amy Miller a CNM alumna.
