CNM students who earn the Criminology (AA) degree as prescribed
in this document will be admitted to NMHU as Juniors in the
Criminal Justice (BA) degree program. Furthermore, the additional
NMHU core curriculum requirements and minor requirement, if any,
are waived.

SIGNATURES / DATE
This agreement shall be subject to revision, modification, or renewal by mutual arrangement on an as needed basis. Either party may terminate the agreement by
written notice submitted at least 90 days in advance of the next academic semester. Termination shall not affect students already engaged in the exchange.

Students completing the Associate of Arts in Criminology at Central New Mexico Community College can apply those credits and courses
directly toward the Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Studies and be Guaranteed Admission to New Mexico Highlands University.

Upon completing the Associate of Arts in Criminology at CNM, as prescribed in this document, students will be admitted to NMHU as
Juniors in the Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Studies degree program. Furthermore, the additional NMHU proficiency, extended core,
and minor requirements will be waived.

Any deviation from this prescribed agreement will require appropriate approval from CNM’s School of Communication, Humanities & Social
Sciences, and/or NMHU’s College of Arts and Sciences; Social and Behavioral Sciences Department.

This transfer agreement will be revised by CNM and NMHU each academic year.
