Articulation Agreement between ATI Career Training Center 4575 San Mateo Blvd., NE, Suite G130 Albuquerque, New Mexico And Central New Mexico Community College 525 Buena Vista Dr. SE Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106 ATI Career Training Center, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico(" ATI"), and Central New Mexico Community College, ("CNM") located in Albuquerque, New Mexico hereby enter into this articulation agreement(" Agreement"): 1. Under the terms of this Agreement all students enrolled in ATI's Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration & Appliances (ACHRA) program and all students who dropped from that program within the last 90 days ("ATI students"), will be permitted to transfer to CNM to complete their program of enrollment. This includes any students currently on a leave of absence and any students who have enrolled at ATI but have not yet started their course of study. As ATI students transition to the CNM programs, they will receive full credit for their work successfully completed with a final grade of "C" or higher while a student of ATI Career Training Center. ATI students also will receive access to all services offered by CNM to students enrolled in its programs on an equal basis, including access to all student support services up to and including placement assistance after completion of program requirements. Except as noted below, all CNM policies and procedures, including those policies and procedures relevant to the processing of federal student financial aid, will apply to ATI students who transfer to CNM under this Agreement. 2. In entering into this Agreement, the parties have determined that Central New Mexico Community College offers programs that are of acceptable quality and reasonably similar in content, structure, and schedule of delivery to that provided by ATI. 3. Students from ATI have been informed of the school closing and, once approved, they will be informed that an articulation agreement has been reached that will allow them to transfer the following credits to CNM Community College: ACA130- Basic Electricity ACA131 - Electrical Control & Motors ACA230- Intro to Climate Control & Safety ACA231- Refrigeration Systems ACA430 - Air Conditioning & Heating Systems ACA431- Air Conditioning Design and Controls AGEN-137 Career Planning Page 1of 3 4. ATI will provide a list of all students who were enrolled in the ACHRA program at the time of campus closure along with a transcript for each of these students. Any student financial transactions paid to ATI will be retained by ATI. ATI will be responsible for all student refunds (including returns to the federal student aid programs) for any students who do not transfer to CNM. The parties acknowledge that CNM is not responsible for any Closed School Loan Discharges applicable to ATI students as that term is defined by the U.S. Department of Education. 5. Once the students complete their program, they will receive their diplomas from CNM. Central New Mexico Community College will maintain records of all students who transfer from ATI to CNM and will maintain such records in its student database and in hard copy format. 6. As part of the articulation agreement, the ATI campus will provide student transcripts for students who transfer to CNM. Where required, ATI may provide other documents to CNM including but not limited to i. ii. iii. iv. v. vi. The parties will notify the appropriate accrediting agencies, and federal and state authorities of this Agreement in compliance with applicable federal and state law. Page 2of 3 Central New Mexico Community College agrees that upon a set schedule, it will offer each student enrolled in the ATI ACHRA program a reasonable opportunity to promptly resume and complete the course of study, as organized by CNM, in the Albuquerque, NM geographic area. ATI shall provide notice to each student of the Articulation Agreement with CNM. CNM will provide information to students enrolled at the closing school with respect to CNM's program(s), facilities, faculty, equipment, services, policies (including attendance and satisfactory academic progress) and practices, the manner and means by which it will accept transfer credit of courses completed at ATI, and any other information specifically requested that is pertinent to this Articulation Agreement.
