Amendment/Addendum #2 to P-366 “Main Campus, Building ‘A’ Renovation”
This addendum becomes part of the Contract Documents.
Offerors are required to acknowledge receipt of this amendment/addendum in the space
provided in Section E: “SIGNATURE OF FIRM'S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE”.
Questions / Clarifications as follows:
QUESTION 1: What are the anticipated limits of construction for Level 1/proposed renovation areas?
ANSWER: The anticipated limit would be the entire ground basement level.

QUESTION 2: What are the anticipated limits of construction for Level 2/proposed renovation areas?
ANSWER: The anticipated limit would be the first floor area north of the Marketing Communication Office.

QUESTION 3: What is the anticipated extent of relocating existing utilities and infrastructure as noted on page 5?
ANSWER: It is anticipated that there would be little infrastructure relocation as part of this project and any
relocations would be as part of a code requirement.

QUESTION 4: Will a construction area be available for storage (connex/dumpster/misc. materials)? If so, where
would the anticipated location be?
ANSWER: The anticipated location for staging for this project will be the asphalt paving area just north of the A
Building and south of the N Building. No other location will be provided.

QUESTION 5: Does CNM have parking available to the subcontractors who will be working onsite?
ANSWER: CNM will have limited parking for the contractor and arrangements will need to be made by the
contractor with the CNM parking department. Parking near the site will be limited to the staging area.

QUESTION 6: What is the anticipated timeframe for completing the project?
ANSWER: It is anticipated that there will be early work packages to complete the project quickly. Contractor will
work with the Architect to determine the fastest timeline for completion of this project.

CLARIFICATION 7: On page 13 of the RFQ under SOQ Format it states: “SOQs shall be typewritten on standard
8½ x 11 paper, double sided printing is acceptable and encouraged (larger paper is permissible for charts,
spreadsheets, etc.), and placed within a binder with tabs delineating each section. Length of the SOQ shall be limited
to twenty (20) pages (printed sheet pages) of text and graphic material. Material excluded from the twenty (20) page
maximum count shall include and shall be limited to:”
ANSWER: The twenty (20) page limitation is waived, but please be as succinct as possible and keep your response
focused on the project itself. CNM is not interested in receiving marketing information.
