We are really excited about implementing the new
Contract Management Tool - Contract Director, which
is more closely aligned with Pace’s contract process!
We want to thank our focus group participants for the
valuable input thus far into the design and configuration
of the system.
The University will migrate to Contract Director in March 2015. Contract Director will offer these
exciting new features:
 A more appealing and user-friendly interface
 One Contract ID number for the life cycle of each contract (no more Contract Request and
Contract Workspace)
 Improved contract status visibility
 Improved Amendment and Renewal creation
 Pre-populated Pace templates - updated with vendor/consultant information and contract
dates
 Personalized dashboard
 Flexible reporting
 Vendors in E-procurement are dynamically synced to Contract Director
To facilitate a seamless migration there will be instructor-led training offered in February and March.
The sessions will provide an in depth overview on navigating the system, contract creation,
management, and reporting. The sessions enable you to share your questions and suggestions, as this is
an evolving process. Training information and schedules will be provided in the coming weeks;
therefore, it is imperative to carefully review all communications regarding the migration.
