BS IN BUSINESS ECONOMICS
From small business to Wall Street, from town hall meetings to global policy summits,
the study of economics gives students the tools necessary to better understand
the world we live in. The discipline complements many other areas of study
including accounting, computer science, history, political science, law, psychology,
sociology, and statistics. We offer Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor
of Science in Business Economics degrees, as well as an Economics minor. The
rigor of our major and minor programs gives students skills that enable them
to compete successfully in an ever changing world and job market.
The BS degree in Business Economics
links the fields of economics and
business to provide students with
an understanding of the theoretical
approaches to economics. The program
also prepares graduates for employment
in the global and technologicallyoriented marketplace. Students
emerge prepared for employment
in a variety of business fields, particularly
finance, banking, planning, management,
government, and for graduate education
in economics, business, or other
professional fields.
