Communication Studies majors on Pace
University’s New York City campus explore
the many ways people and institutions
use messages to generate meaning and
how these messages are interpreted and
understood. A degree in Communication
Studies will prepare you to be a critical
thinker, a powerful writer and an articulate
speaker. Students who wish to prepare
for the professions can choose to
concentrate in the study of organizations,
institutions, group process, persuasion, critical
thinking and cultural communication.
Students who want a career in direct
content creation or professional support
of the popular arts, public relations and/
