Product Overview
Cisco® Smart Net Total Care Service delivers extensive installed base and contract management, along with
foundational technical services, device diagnostics, and alerts for Cisco products in the network. This proactive
maintenance package improves risk management, helps resolve problems quickly, and reduce operating expenses.
Using information from a secure discovery of Cisco products and correlating it with Cisco's intellectual capital and
product expertise, Smart Net Total Care delivers actionable intelligence, relevant recommendations and
information, and proactive support capabilities that reduce operating costs and minimize downtime.
New and Changed Information
This release contains new features that will improve the customer experience and usability of the information
SNTC provides.
General Enhancements

New Contract Management report for customers – There is a new exportable report that has
comprehensive details about a customer’s contracts and covered devices, which helps in planning service
coverage and speeds up the renewal process.

Actionable Alert management – Added the ability to acknowledge and annotate product alerts. This lets
the customer focus only on the alerts that require action.

KVM hypervisor support – Enhanced the software collector appliance choices by introducing support for
KVM hypervisor. This is in addition to our existing support for VMware and Hyper-V hypervisors.

600+ new devices will now be supported by SNTC – product families include Catalyst and Nexus switches,
Aironet access points, and multiple cards and modules.
Improved Product Quality

10 reported defects are fixed in this release (refer to resolved bugs for details).
