Product Overview
Cisco® Smart Net Total Care Service delivers extensive installed base and contract management, along with
foundational technical services, device diagnostics, and alerts for Cisco products in the network. This proactive
maintenance package improves risk management, helps resolve problems quickly, and reduce operating expenses.
Using information from a secure discovery of Cisco products and correlating it with Cisco's intellectual capital and
product expertise, Smart Net Total Care delivers actionable intelligence, relevant recommendations and
information, and proactive support capabilities that reduce operating costs and minimize downtime.
New and Changed Information
In preparation for the final migration steps needed for moving customer to the new Smart Net Total Care portal,
some of the administrative capabilities in the 1.x portal will be frozen as of May 15, 2015. Once Migration is
complete, all these activities will be resumed on the new portal but not accessible on 1.x portal.
As of May 15, 2015 date, your company’s Smart Net Total Care administrator and users who have been granted
access will no longer have access to the following in the 1.x portal:
 Add new users to the 1.x portal
 Manage user profiles, including Partner LOA access
 Create additional or update existing segments
 Manage service coverage and alert access controls
 Import CSV files with the file import capability
 Update in-scope contracts for Aggregated report generation
Users will continue to be able to view the information that is already in the SNTC 1.x portal. For example, they will
be able to access existing segment groupings, and view the notes and comments that have already been added to
alerts and service coverage reports.
