Dr. Sang-Hee Suh is currently the Director of the Center for
Nanostructured Materials Technology, which is sponsored as
one of the 21st Centry R&D programs by the Ministry of Science
and Technology of Korea. He received B.Sc. in Metallurgical
Engineering from Seoul National University in 1974, M.S. in
Materials Science and Engineering from Korea Advanced
Institute of Science and Technology in 1976, and Ph.D. in
Materials Science & Engineering from Northwestern University
in Evanston, IL U.S.A. in 1982. Since he joined Korea Institute
of Science and Technology in 1976, his research interests have
focused on manufacturing of tool steels and heat resistant
super alloys, and processing of HgCdTe infrared detector
materials and devices. He has authored or co-authored over 90
publications.
