Required for compliance with Exxon Mobile, H29
The Rosemount TankRadar Vapor Pressure Sensor enables accurate measurement
of the cargo vapor pressure. 4 alarm limits will be set according to Exxon Mobile
H29 requirement to monitor and detect Hi/Lo pressure.

Exxon Mobil regulation H29 from Nov 20th 2010 states that it is a MUST to
measure the vapor pressure of the cargo.
EXTRACT FROM EXXON MOBILE REGULATION
“H.29 Vessels MUST have fixed cargo tank pressure monitoring equipment fitted,
with a visual display unit installed in the cargo control room. The system shall
include manufacturers set high and low pressure alarms as detailed within OCIMF
SIRE 4 VIQ CH. 8.30, and additionally a further minimum two adjustable, user
defined, alarms limits which can be set as required. These alarms should sound an
audible and visual alarm in the CCR if the set limits are exceeded.

HOW TO INSTALL
No additional cabling on deck or deck penetration is needed as sensor
function is prepared. Sensors are placed inside the tankradar transmitter
head. The kit includes pressure sensors and mounting kit together with SW
update for workstation or other interface.
The estimated time for installation and commissioning for vapor pressure
sensors upgrade is 1-2 days and can be mechanically prepared by crew.
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
• Test valve for measuring sensor offset without exposing cargo tank to
atmosphere is available. The test value will enable safe onboard problem
solving during operation.
• IBP panel for monitoring of the pressure and alarm status at the bridge.
