TopWorx 4310 Wireless Position Sensor
Bracket Kit For Namur and FIELDQ Actuators
Use these instructions to mount a Topworx 4310 Wireless Position Monitor (Model Number: 4310 and FS
Number: 4310-1 & 4310-2) per pricing guide addendum on TBD (Namur Mounting Kits) and TBD (Field Q
and like others).
Refer to Figure 1, Figure 2 and the parts list for mounting parts identification. Refer to the 4310 Instruction
Manual for 4310 parts identification. Refer to the appropriate actuator instruction manual for actuator
installation, operation, maintenance, and parts identification.

1. Isolate the control valve from the process line pressure, release pressure from both sides of the valve
body, and drain the process media from both sides of the valve. Shut off all pressure lines to the
actuator, releasing all pressure form the actuator. Use lock-out procedures to be sure that the above
measures stay in effect while you work on the equipment.
2. Use M6x1 x 1.2mm low profile socket head cap screw (ITEM 12) to fasten the wireless indicator
assembly (ITEM 1 or 2) on top of the actuator.
3. Attach feedback assembly (ITEM 3) to wireless indicator assembly (ITEM 1 or 2) using two M3x0.5 x
12mm pan head screws (ITEM 13).
4. Attach a mounting bracket (ITEMS 6-9) to the actuator using existing hardware (ITEMS 10 & 11).
5. Attach 4310 positioner to the mounting bracket using four M6x1 x 16mm hex head screws (ITEM 4)
and M6 lock washers (ITEM 5).
6. Set up and calibrate 4310 positioner according to the 4310 Instruction Manual. Make supply and
electrical connections as described in the 4310 Operation and Installation Instructions.

assembly (ITEM 1) on top of the actuator.
3. Attach feedback assembly (ITEM 2) to wireless indicator assembly (ITEM 1) using two M3x0.5 x
12mm pan head screws (ITEM 9).
4. Attach a mounting bracket (ITEM 5) to the actuator using existing hardware (ITEMS 6 & 7).
5. Attach 4310 positioner to the mounting bracket using four M6x1.0 x 16mm hex head screws (ITEM 3)
and M6 lock washers (ITEM 4).
6. Set up and calibrate 4310 positioner according to the 4310 Instruction Manual. Make supply and
electrical connections as described in the 4310 Operation and Installation Instructions.
