plant a tree and knowing its characteristics are
important energy conservation factors. Learn
about drought tolerant trees for water savings.
Discussion also will include types of trees to
consider for passive and active solar benefits.
The presenter, City Forester Tim Buchanan,
has extensive experience working with trees
and shrubs in our High Plains region. His work
to create the City’s Xeriscape Demonstration
Garden and Gardens on Spring Creek make him
an outstanding asset to our community.
