I can not wait to ride the trails
is working on in Rogue River. I am happy he has pursued it and is
making it happen. Let me know what I can do to support it.
The tourist benefit is huge, I own
and give people maps and directions all the time. a another set of
trails in the valley is much needed.

I am pleased to hear about a new mountain bike and hiking trail that is being proposed in
the Rogue River vicinity. Having lived in this Valley most of my life, I am always glad to
see new recreational opportunities. Also, as a member of the Rogue River Chamber of
Commerce, it always seems that recreational projects often benefit the community as a
whole economically. I am fully in support of this plan, and am looking forward to hear the
details as this project hopefully moves along through the process of approval and
construction.

Two thumbs up for the Mountain of the Rogue Trail Project! As a local business owner and avid mountain biker I
am excited about the benefits this project offers our community.
In addition to the direct benefits this project brings to area residents, I believe a trail system like this will draw
people from all over Oregon and Northern California to the Rogue River area who love riding, hiking, and running
on trails. These visitors help our local economy (hotels/B&B's/campgrounds, restaurants, local retailers, and
more), improve home values, bring more visitors to our neighbors at Valley of the Rogue Park, and put Rogue
River on the map in a positive way.
I believe the Mountain of the Rogue Trail Project models the best-case use of public lands. You have my full
support.

*Sustainable: built and maintained to last without unnecessary erosion
*Multi-use: hikers, bikers, runners and anyone out to take in a beautiful view
*Supports local businesses through tourism
*Makes Rogue River a more desirable place to live which boosts the economy and housing market
*Provides a means for youth education and opportunities for organized sport and recreation activity
*Promotes and supports the Greenway project
*Demonstrates responsible and legal use of public lands

I received your notification of the proposed bike trail. Trouble is, the map is
confusing. Is this trail going to go along E. Evans Creek? I would like to see it on a
