Wow! 1st class mountain bike/hiking trails within walking distance of Valley of the Rogue park. What an
excellent use of the natural resource that are sitting dormant. Not to mention the business that people who
spend thousands on their equipment might spend in the area.
Count me in on the manual labor to help this endeavor succeed. I'd love to give back to something that
others will enjoy, long past my lifetime.

I am writing in support of the proposed trail. While I am not a mountain biker, I spend many hours running and
hiking on trails in Southern Oregon and Colorado (where I spend five months of each year). I believe there is a real
need to create opportunities to reconnect people with nature and the natural world. Combining a trip to the
outdoors with an opportunity to exercise can only be a positive thing.
Keep up these good efforts. I look forward to this new trail.

I just received an e-mail regarding the potential mountain biking/hiking trail near Rogue River. What an exciting
opportunity! I grew up in Rogue River, and my cross country team would have loved to have had such a cool
resource to use for training. I’m excited about the possibility of new trails so close to my current location in GP.

I'm writing in support of the proposed Mountain of the Rogue trail system near Rogue River. I am a Rogue River
resident, mountain biker, hiker, and runner. Having another local trail option would be great for me and other
many other recreationists in the area. We need more accessible, low elevation trails close to town that can be
used year-round.

As a frequent visitor to the Rogue Valley and an avid outdoor biker and trail runner I would have to say this project
sounds like a great addition to the area. I am a long time resident (native) of the Bend, Oregon area and a
constant user of the Phil's Trail complex we have here, and must say it has been an asset to both the outdoor
and business community.
Recreational areas of this nature draw from many different life styles and across the spectrum of financial well
being. Everybody from mature adults to young families and singles can enjoy the outdoors through walking,
running or biking. And having a well throughout and planned complex really adds to the experience.
Thank you for the opportunity to give input from an outside the area perspective.

I wanted to write in support of the Rogue Trail Project. My wife has family in Rogue River, so we have
visited several times and enjoyed the many things to do there. Her cousin took me on a thrilling
(somewhat terrifying!) mountain bike ride, so I understand the excitement surrounding this project. Her
cousin is also a small business owner in Rogue River, and additional developed trails like this would be
great for bringing more people to the area.

I took a look at the proposal for the mountain biking and hiking trails to be constructed between Rogue River and
Gold Hill. I hope this project goes through because it will offer an much needed set of hiker/biker specific trails in
the area that is easily accessible from both Grants Pass and Medford.
I'm looking forward to helping out with the construction effort should the project get final approval!

My name is
and I've lived in Rogue River my whole life. I love this town and the beauty of the
Rogue Valley and I'm very excited to hear about the new trail system being constructed. I would love for this town
to be a popular destination for hikers, runners, cyclists, and every kind of outdoor enthusiast. I'm an avid outdoor
enthusiast myself and I'd love to contribute to the trail's design, construction, and maintenance.
Creating this trail system is a great idea and I and many others are very excited about it. It's going to generate a
lot of positive attention to the city of Rogue River. I work at REI in Medford and I've already talked to some
cyclists there about the new trail plans, and they're just as excited as I am.
It's about time we did something like this in our town! Let me know if there's anything I can do. Like I said, I'd love
to get my hands dirty and contribute to this project. I'll be in contact with
